North Cape is the dream of many motorcyclists. An imaginary line that marks the northernmost point of Europe reachable on two wheels.
For Cesare Cantelli, SIXS ambassador, it was not just a geographical milestone, but an experience that forced him to face himself, the silence, the solitude, and the fragile beauty of Norway’s landscapes.
Days and miles covered alone, under relentless rain, beneath skies that seem jealous of their own beauty, across landscapes so intense they almost make you feel like an intruder just by looking at them.
Norway does not forgive, yet it gifts emotions that remain etched in memory. It’s a constant exercise in adaptation: plans that fall through, sudden detours, chance encounters that change your perspective.
At the arrival point, the iconic North Cape globe, Cesare imagined a moment of absolute intimacy.
Instead, he meets Pino, another Italian traveler, who tells him he had already been there thirty years earlier, and that now he no longer feels any interest in that final point, which has become too touristy.
Those words struck him like a slap: the importance is never really in the finish line, but in what you have lived through to get there.
Sitting in his hytta, Cesare realizes that the true strength of this experience was not “planting the flag at the globe,” but every single day of roads, rain, encounters, solitude, and reflections.
A journey that becomes inner training, a continuous test of adaptability and resilience.

In this adventure, technical apparel truly made the difference.
Days of rain, wind, and endless hours in the saddle test both body and mind: when your body is at its limit, having an invisible yet constant ally becomes essential. SIXS jerseys accompanied Cesare for days, never giving in to odors, always maintaining breathability and comfort even after hours under the helmet and jacket. Thermoregulation allowed him to face sudden climate shifts, from biting cold to unexpected clearings, without having to change gear at every stop. They are not just technical garments, but a second skin that frees the mind from worries and lets you focus only on what really matters: the journey.
“It’s not the destination, but the journey”: a phrase that risks sounding like a cliché—until you truly live it.
For Cesare Cantelli, North Cape was the symbol, but every mile before that point remains the real achievement.
And we at SIXS are proud to have been part of his journey.
